The MWSU Library joined in a partnership with the National Military Heritage Museum in 2005 to add their books to the TOWERS catalog. The project included sending copies of title pages to a large bibliographic utility to convert the records to an online format. The records were then downloaded into the TOWERS catalog. MWSU library staff cleaned up records, added additional records, and added barcodes and spine labels to over 4000 books. The museum library was moved from the main building to a building across the street this Spring, where the books are now shelved. Books may be requested through TOWERS.
The focus of the collection is Civil War, Spanish American War, World War I, World War II and the Korean War.
